Although the majority of people in Thailand
are Buddhists, the Thai people love to take part in celebrations.
Christmas is not a holiday here but the students from our school
still celebrated it by singing, dancing and playing party games.
This year for the first time we welcomed visitors from all around
the world who watched our festivities on the live web
cams on the internet throughout the day.
Early on Christmas morning, the students arriving
at the school were welcomed by Santa Claus and some of his helpers.
They handed out sweets to the students as they arrived.
Many of the students came to school with
party hats and a big smile on their faces. In the middle of the
playground was a giant Christmas tree which had been beautifully
decorated.
